The layers in the gusset of the underwear work to trap and absorb your period so it doesn't leak in the water (or on land!) Our Swimwear features the same Leakproof Technology as our Period Underwear with an additional thin layer of waterproof material for extra protection.

The inner layers absorb the blood and traps it, so there's no leakage when you swim. When it goes in the laundry with detergent, it releases through the top layer— leaving your swim fresh and clean for tomorrow's laps. Reminder: No bleach or softener, and lay flat to dry.

Our Leakproof Swimwear has a super discreet absorbent pad in the gusset liner that absorbs up to 3 tsps of blood, which equals about 3 tampons.

You don’t need to. Every period is different though, and we recommend doing whatever makes you feel most confident. Knix Period Swimwear can be worn alone without any additional period protection or used as backup protection on super heavy days with a tampon or menstrual cup.

After your swim, just machine-wash the swimwear on a cold cycle and lay flat to dry. Do not bleach.

Perfect basic swim bottoms

So excited to find these for trips to the pool or beach when on my period. I bought the black medium and love the way they fit (I’m 5’4” about 125 lbs, and usually wear sizes 4-6 in pants)” for reference. The fabric itself is very smooth and thick/high quality. Will make an update once I’ve used them for their intended purpose if it does not go well, but I already love the feel and fit of them. Only thing is I wish there were more color options like grey/navy/etc.

More colours!!

Where have these been all my life!

More leakproof styles needed!

As someone who struggles with bleeding these are a lifesaver and confidence builder.

I got the one style last year and instantly bought the bikini cut this year.

NEED more colours and in the Ultra highrise, please!

Runs large, or too high but so excited to have

Where have these been my whole life? I was a bit bummed that the rise was a bit high but they were sold out in the next size down so I'm keeping them, I have too many beach disaster stories not too. Can't wait 'til summer!
