Our customers have been asking for it for years. And we believed that we could deliver Shapewear that delivers on our mission to empower everyone to live unapologetically free. Shapewear that celebrates your bodies, enhances your natural shape, and smooths and contours your silhouette under clothing.

Does Shapewear really work?

Knix Shapewear was designed to help smooth your silhouette and enhance your curves. To support you and keep you free to move about. It was not created to constrict and constrain your body to make you look thinner.

Designed to be breathable and lightweight, so you won’t feel like you’ve been wrapped in too-tight bandages or that you’re being compressed or pinched by your underwear.

The result? Gently shaping underwear that lets you be yourself and feel confident and in control of your body.

What is the best shaping underwear for me?

The best shapewear selection for you will often depend on what you’re wearing, as well as the areas of your body that you can most benefit from a little smoothing assistance. Choose from the following products:

Our High Rise Shaper Brief focuses on gently contouring your core, including your tummy area. It won’t squeeze you too tight or roll down on you, but fits like a second skin to gently control and enhance your natural curves.

The High Rise Shaper Short brings gentle compression to your butt and core while smoothing your thigh area (and protecting your inner thighs from chafing). These shorts may just become your best friend in the summer months under summer dresses!

The Shaper Bodysuit provides full body support for your core (i.e. tummy), behind, and bust. It is whisper-soft and seamless so you can feel free to move and stretch no matter what you’re wearing it beneath!

What is the exchange/return policy?

Knix Shapewear is available for return & exchange.

What is the technology used to make the compression aspect of your Shapewear?

Knix uses high quality, high stretch materials combined with bonding to create targeted panels of gentle compression and shaping.

Is Knix Shapewear leakproof?

Currently, no. The gusset is not absorbent like our Leakproof Underwear, but it is made with carbon cotton, which is breathable and anti-odor.

Is it breathable?

Yes.

What’s the best underwear for tummy control?

All our shape-enhancing underwear provides support for your core and helps with tummy control, but the Shaper Brief is especially focused on providing support and control for the entire midriff area.

What does high waist Shapewear do?

Our High Rise Shaper Short & Brief are all about enhancing and smoothing your own natural shape. It will accentuate your natural curves while giving you a smooth, line-free silhouette. It’s ideal for giving you that “no underwear” look under your tighter-fitting outfits, or just for everyday wear. With whisper soft fabric, you’ll feel like you’re wearing a second (supportive) skin.

Is it healthy to wear Shapewear?

Our Shapewear does not compress your organs in any uncomfortable way, so you can feel safe wearing it as often as you like!

Where should we measure for the best fit?

For the Shaper Bodysuit, measure your under bust. For the Shaper Short and Shaper Brief, measure your hip.

Should I size down in Shapewear to appear slimmer?

No. You should buy all underwear to fit you properly. Sizing down will only make (any) underwear feel less comfortable and fit you incorrectly. Rolling or pinching are signs that you’re wearing the wrong size of underwear. Consult our size guides to determine your right size!

I am new to Shapewear. How should it fit when first worn?

Our shaping underwear products should fit snug to the body. The fabric should be smooth without wrinkles or folds. For the Shaper Bodysuit, the underband should be directly under bust. For the brief and short, they should fit well above the natural waistline.

What if I’m in between sizes? Should I size up or size down?

If you’re in between sizes, we recommend sizing up.

Will Knix Shapewear work for me if I am shorter/taller?

Yes it will.

Why does high waist underwear sometimes roll down?

Other brands of high waist underwear sometimes roll down. That really defeats the entire purpose of wearing high waist shapewear! As long as you are wearing the right size for your body, you shouldn’t experience this with the Knix High Rise Shaper. It’s design to fit snugly and securely, while feeling like a second skin.

Are these products difficult to put on (and get off)?

We all remember those Bridget Jones contortions to get into her “granny panties.” But don’t worry - you won’t be repeating those scenes getting in and out of Knix Shapewear!

While any underwear with more material can take a little more wiggling to get on our take off, our underwear is designed to fit like a glove. So you’ll be able to get dressed (and undressed) just like normal. No contortions, no antics. Just you, your body, your own beautiful shape!

How do you wash and care for my shape-enhancing underwear?

Machine wash cold with like colors and mild detergent. Lay flat to dry. Do not bleach, iron, or dry clean or bleach, lay flat to dry.

Will they loosen with wash and wear?

Yes, over time the Shapewear products will gently relax with wash and wear.

Is Knix Shapewear better than other brands, like Spanx?

Knix Shapewear is designed to enhance your natural shape. Other brands mainly focus on compression which can be very uncomfortable.

Can I wear it as a replacement for my underwear?

No.
